The Saab 35 Draken was a Swedish supersonic fighter aircraft developed and manufactured by Saab during the Cold War. It was one of the first European-built fighter aircraft to exceed Mach 2 in level flight. The Draken was also one of the most successful Swedish aircraft ever produced, serving with the Swedish Air Force (Flygvapnet) from 1960 to 1993.
