Common Red Paintbrush

Common Red Paintbrush (Castilleja miniata) is a perennial wildflower belonging to the Figwort (Scrophulariaceae) Family that grows in thickets, open woods, tidal marshes, meadows, grassy areas, and on gravel bars at low to high elevations. Common Red Paintbrush can be found throughout Western North America.
