FAILURE REWARDED! Dave Filoni PROMOTED To Chief Creative Officer Of Lucasfilm - Random Rants

After the unmitigated disaster known as Season 1 of Ahsoka, one would have rightly expected heads to have rolled. Instead, Dave Filoni, the showrunner/producer/writer/director responsible for that and many of the other creative debacles with the Star Wars franchise has been elevated to Chief Creative Officer of Lucasfilm, apparently gaining more creative control and power over the company.

Not only does this signal bad things to come for the franchise, but it also appears that Kathleen Kennedy has a new meat shield to fend off any criticism of her leadership.
