Just a short single chapter as I have little time this week. Chapter 3 where our heroine makes acquaintance with the troubled, but handsome Mr De Winter and she has some rather gothic thoughts. Wonderful scene by Daphne Du Maurier where she paints the awful Mrs Van Hopper so true to life. I've known people just like her.
