How to Keep a Pineapple 🍍✨

To make a golden pineapple
That is the question

I bought a pineapple for my duck
From a very nice man named Aldo

Aldo’s Pineapple
Means a lot to me
i cannot bring myself to eat it

This special pineapple i got
For my duck Wrinkle
i would like to keep it forever

Unfortunately it will not
Be here forever
As it will eventually rot
More sooner than never

To disintegrate
To decompose
To sleep perchance to dream
To be no more

It is but the nature of existence
It is but life

But then i remember
i remember
An artist friend years ago
Showed me his experimental work
On a special process
Where he could take things
Random things
And freeze them into statues
Like Han Solo
In Star Wars

i didn’t have time
To go out to Arizona
And have my artist friend
Metalize my pineapple
Because my pineapple
Was quickly dying

So i called all the places
i could find in NYC
To see if any were willing to try
Turning a pineapple into metal

The guy said he would try
But not to get my hopes up

Let’s wish them luck
And cross our fingers
i’m looking forward to seeing what happens
Either way
