The Bewcastle Fairies by Tony Walker

I write various sorts of ghost stories, horror stories and weird tales set in difference places and times, but a lot of my stories are set in my native Cumbria. This story here is based on a real folk tale from the remote area of Bewcastle on the Scottish Border. On my mother's side the Goodfellows came from Bewcastle and Mr John Walker a "Scotchman" actually did live in Kirkcubright about this time and was a watchmaker and silversmith.

This is another story about a bad man who gets his come-uppance at the hands of the otherworld.
