This was the first Star Ocean entry I had every played back in the day, probably around 1999 the first time I rented it from the local shop! Being a huge fan of RPGs, and anything space related, this was an instant hit and I absolutely loved it when I was a kid! Seeing it now getting the full remake/remaster treatment is phenomenal, and I hope you have a blast coming along for the nostalgic journey with me!
