Thanks to an absolutely majestic thunderstorm captured live by Kirk from a farmhouse in the Berkshires, a set of beautiful tuning forks, and his sacral chakra bowls played gracefully to create just the right type of binaural beat...the inspiration to record an equally magical piano part and turn these sounds into a full sonic journey was a given from the start.

Perhaps the "storm" undergirding this track is indeed meant to conjure that potent energy center of the human body - the Sacral or Navel chakra, known as "Svadhisthana" in the Sanskrit - governing our creative expression, sensuality, and sexuality. The power and energy of this center has the potential to create, as well as to destroy...the responsibility of which lies in the wielder.

Another fruit of my potent artistic collaboration with Evolvlove, as we prepare the release of our full-length album Halcyon Listening Room coming early 2024.
