November 26, 2023 - "Christmas Contradictions"

Although Advent doesn't start for another week, many people consider American Thanksgiving to be the "official" start of Christmas. And "Black Friday" begins silly season in earnest. That means this is a good time to remind Christians about where our focus should be during the Christmas season.
The contradiction between the world's view of Christmas and the Christian's view of Christmas is a reminder that even throughout the pages of prophecy, there were puzzling contradictions about the coming Christ. Gentle baby, or mighty warrior? Merciful friend, or fearsome judge? God, or man? Was He one or the other, or both?
