One of the coolest automotive trends, pop-up headlights, was pushed out of the market due to safety regulations and the pursuit of aerodynamic perfection. This trend, however, still makes its presence felt and reminds us of its charm through the work of Glen Cordle, an independent automotive designer. He recently shared on his Instagram a masterpiece of his creative mind: a render of the latest Porsche 911 Turbo (992) equipped with pop-up headlights. This design is a form of reincarnation of the old-school (930) 911 Turbo Slantnose from the 80s. Just look how good it looks. Would you want pop-up headlights to make a comeback?
