Israel - Palestine war: Hamas launched the biggest attack on Israel in years over the weekend on the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah, prompting Israel to declare war for the first time since 1973. At least 1,100 people were killed in the terrorist attack and 2,000 more wounded, according to Israel's national rescue service.
