Today I’ll be tackling the question, “Can You Do Solar If You Have A Reverse Mortgage?”.
One of the things I do is solar, and I actually love it because it’s so beneficial for people.
However, one of the first installs that I ever did was for a former client of mine who I did a reverse mortgage for.
It turns out, (when I reached out to him to let him know I was also doing solar) that he tried to get solar from 2 different companies about a year before me reaching out to him. Basically, he was denied because he had a reverse mortgage.
I reached out to our team and confirmed WE can do solar if you have a reverse mortgage. Apparently not all companies will work with you if you have a reverse mortgage.
