After a BPD Breakup the "great feelings" of BPD Idealization, can you (codependents) get that great feeling of BPD idealization back in their own recovery and it feel even better? Those feelings so longed for by so many with Codependency aren't all about the BPD Ex and cannot be recaptured. A large component of how those feelings were way too good to be true and trying to hold onto them is what is so painful for codependents and makes going and staying no contact more difficult.
