Migrants Travel Through Treacherous Darién Gap

Ben Bergquam and Oscar Blue Ramirez (of Law & Border) take their third trip through the treacherous Darién Gap, which connects South and Central America, to show what migrants suffer through to get to the United States. The Darién Gap is 66 miles of dense rainforest with jungle-covered mountains. Besides the treacherous environment, migrants are subjected to paying incredible amounts of money to be allowed to travel, are subjected to robbery, rape, murder, exhaustion, starvation, animal attacks, drownings and worse.
