In this world that we live in, to be hurt and to hurt others is quite natural. To forgive others who caused you deep pain is supernatural! Only through the power of the Gospel - centered on forgiveness, reconciliation, and restoration in Christ can this become possible! We need to partner with God to go through the healing process of forgiveness in our relationships so that our hearts will become like His missional heart for the lost and sinful people. We can only fulfill our God-given purpose if we do not allow unforgiveness and bitterness to block or hinder it like a poison that affects every part of our being.
