Why does China STILL have NO animal cruelty laws?! THIS MUST CHANGE NOW!!! (No Graphic Images)

In October 2023 a child in southwestern China was attacked by a dog. Since then, there has been a crackdown on dogs in China. The authorities have been rounding up strays as well as PETS of those who are unattended OR who are certain breeds that the authorities deem as being 'dangerous'. Since then, I've seen so many videos and articles of horrifying treatment (and torture) of animals in China. Some of the people I've seen from videos and photos in China have been of people killing their own pets in brutal ways just for amusement. They do it, they make videos of it... and yet they face no consequences because there are still no laws against animal cruelty. I'm pleading with China to please do something about this and create some laws! There is no excuse not to have some laws in place to prevent and persecute this type of evil behavior!
