Doctor Who Star Beast Even Fails at 'The Message'

This episode was a huge FAIL, and it seems to be Russell Davies' fault. Davies made terrible additions to the original Star Beast story, and gave us terrible messaging that doesn't appear to support the community Davies' says he was championing. What did we just watch?
