Before the Six-Day War 1967, Golan Heights was a part of Syria. After the war, Israel annexed the Golan Heights.
I picked up a hitchhiker from one of the four remaining Syrian-Druze villages - the village of Buq'ata - and convinced him to share his story and give us an inner look at the life of the remaining Syrians in Israel. In this video we met his sister-in-law, who also happens to be an outstanding entrepreneur and probably the bravest woman in Israel.
