On this date exactly 50 years ago in 1970, “The Ray Stevens Show” debuted on NBC as the summer replacement for the "Andy Williams' Show". For a lot of people, this was their introduction to Ray. Also, he wrote his Grammy-winning song "Everything Is Beautiful" as the theme for the program. So, here is the beginning segment of the very first episode, which includes Ray singing "Everything Is Beautiful". Check it out!
