In part 1 Rivera shares her story and how she is now walking in Kingdom truths with the Lord. In this segment we get into why and how she got into politics and the platform of her candidacy for Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina.

BIO:
Rivera Douthit is a native North Carolinian who loves her state, the people and the simplicity and charm of southern culture. She desires to see her beloved state become an outstanding leader in the nation and a light in the impending darkness of this world. She defends and protects children, law enforcement, and the military.

Rivera is founder of Rivera International Ministries (RIM), a nonprofit organization designed to reach the nations with the gospel. As a spiritual mother and one who leads many into an understanding of their identity, Rivera desires to see an entire generation catapulted by the Spirit of God into their unique callings and destinies. With a passion for revival, evangelism, and unity in the body of Christ, her greatest joy is pointing people to Jesus, seeing them downloaded with new revelation of the Father’s love and marked by the all-consuming fire of His Spirit.
She is also a speaker and author of Intimacy: Into Me You See, and Zero Gravity: Where Heaven and Earth Collide.
Aside from championing her home state, Rivera is a wife and mom. She has been happily married to David Douthit for 28 years, and they have two adult children, Hunter and Haley. Her professional background includes critical care nursing, women’s ministry and being a small business owner.
