NATO Can't Back Out of Ukraine

The war in Ukraine has been raging for over 18 months. Over this long extended period of conflict, Europeans have been doing some soul searching. There is an increasing number of European countries, including France and Germany, who no longer feel safe under the U.S Security umbrella. European nations are seeing their Ukrainian neighbor get pulverized under the Russian military onslaught and are beginning to fear. This means that if NATO loses this proxy war in Ukraine, U.S prestige in Europe will fall. A cost that most politicians cannot bear. So what will be their solution? Grab this country into World War 3 of course.
