Borderline Favorite Person Is Object Other Parent Representation

This over-simplification of object relations in BPD helps no one. Borderlines each having a "favorite person" helps no one but does hurts all. It is not an accurate description of what is really happening for people with BPD and how they don't see the object other good or bad representation for who they are at all. This is the borderline transferring what they need to learn to take personal responsibility for in their own lives on to others. It will always end in devaluation/punishment and relational rupture.
