Jay joined the Republican party and became the committeeman for Vermont because of the pro life issue. It is the foundation of his political stances and he was pro life before he was a Catholic. According to him, The Democrat party doesn't have room for life in their platform. I have heard it said that a baby is just a clump of cells....but aren't we all?
