Tunnels Link 1921 Theater to Hotel

The Beecham Theater in Downtown Orlando was built by Mayor Beecham. Tunnels connect the Beecham to the Angebilt Building which also used to be a Hotel, plus the San Juan Hotel which no longer stands and finally across town to the speakeasy club Mathers. Once used by the entertainers to cross and sometimes Rum Runners, the tunnels were closed in the 1980's. Spirits are said to still linger throughout them especially on the other side by Mathers.
