Some borderlines, most Narcissists, and many co-morbid BPD/NPD will hoover you when, for whatever reasons, you are in a very vulnerable emotional place. This happened to me because I shared my vulnerability (which I still say our vulnerability is a strength) but it brings out the predatory wolf in sheep's clothing Narcissistic hoover time and time again because they are predatory and it is SO ALL ABOUT THEM. Beware of the Narcissist hoover and recognize it for exactly what it is. Do they ever go away? The answer is, NO! Take care of yourself. This happened to me because I shared my raw pain about my late dog Tyler. I got a major predatory hoover and recognized it as such immediately. Don't ever bite the Narcissistic hook of the Narcissistic abuser who hurt you so badly in the first place. In my case, it was a different - not interpersonal hoover, but, predatory, unwanted, and disgusting anyway.
