Today the Docs discuss priestly celibacy specifically some psychological rationales in support of priests remaining celibate. There are many in the Church today that advocate for priests to be able to marry, however, there are many reasons that this tradition started in the first place and there are plenty of spiritual and psychological reasons that support it continuing.
