What to do when someone you know or love, or are related to, or an Ex of makes statements/threats like, "You don't want me around do you?" or "I'm going to be gone" or "I just want to die" or "I can't live without you" and so forth? When a person has (especially untreated BPD) and is talking like this, is it manipulation? What is the situation surrounding this? Does this happen often? Have they isolated themselves and then alienated themselves from loved ones or family, including children and now don't know what to do? That is not a justification for this by the way. I talk about what is important to do and how to handle this situation that clearly no one can say with 100% certainty is only manipulation (with BPD/NPD) gaslighting and planned to try to elicit feelings from you that you do not feel or do not want to be drawn into in this emotionally blackmailing and acting out way.
