The meat of the Narcissistic Cycle can rapidly repeat, even in a few minutes. In a conversation, short or long. Every conversation for a Narcissist is a competition to take supply. Recognizing this "art" conversation as competition will help you disengage.

Even when you know a lot of what the Narcissist is doing what that means, be careful, because it can be getting exponentially emotionally very unhealthy for you even beyond what you are aware of.
