It’s not just Darbi Boddy, this is a kind of strategy that goes back many decades, and I've seen it happen to many, many women. It's the goal of ostracizing people from group mentality when individuals don't reflect the consensus values. It's kind of a Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer kind of thing. The group assumes it makes up the notion of reality through a democratic opinion. And anyone outside of that opinion is crazy. Even if it is the group that is technically nuts.
