When Theft is legal – I received written advice from lawyer Tom 29 January 2008 that our situation was clear case of negligence! ‘In my opinion, Mr Wirkus has reasonable prospects of success in an action for damages for negligence against his former solicitor Lawyer Les and also in an action for damages against the Body Corporate Goldieslie Park for misrepresentation!

Sueing a lawyer in Australia should be straight forward but not in Queensland! The professional indemnity insurer LEXON Insurance is owned by the Queensland Law Society, and I discovered it’s a union of friends and cronyism is carefully salted away! ‘Nothing to see here!’ The media establishment don’t want to know as they too are in ‘awe of authority’ and therefore don’t question the obvious!

Lawyer Jim the developer swindled the Brisbane City Council, the previous owner of land and a neighbour by blurring two development proceedings together and then collected $42,000 in 1988 for an easement nobody could use legally! Everybody trusted the lawyer!
