Good Morning Talk on November 28th, 2023 - "Hope, Promise, Prophecy" Part 1/2

As we begin to move into the Advent season let us be reminded of the hope, promises and prophecies given regarding the Anointed One, Almighty God, Yeshua! Advent meaning "coming" is a declaration of God's plan (past, present and future) and the importance of personally knowing the Messiah, the Christ! We discuss this today and as we ready ourselves for what's coming in our world. We need this reminder, so our hope grows stronger in God's promises, as His prophetic word is revealed in our generation. Come Lord Jesus!

Today's Passage of Scripture:
Isaiah 9:6-7
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.

John 14:1-7
“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”
