Are atheists more intelligent than believers?

The problem atheists have is not their level of intelligence; it is their struggle with sin. The problem is not that the atheist does not see enough evidence for God. The problem is that sin has so darkened his heart and mind that he refuses to accept the evidence of God right in front of him. The main goal of those under the influence of the sin nature is to make themselves into a god, to have complete control over their life, or so they thinks. That was Satan’s sin, he was not an atheist, he knew God but refused to worship and submit to God, he wanted to be god. All who claim to be atheist wants to be their own god.
