Porcupine Fight

One day I came outside and heard the funniest noises (they were the cutest noises!) and there were 3 or 4 porcupines all in the yard which is kinda unusual. I think they may be a little territorial. Honestly, it looks to me like Big Daddy is asking (& stalking) for some, but Mamma ain't havin' it. She's like "leave me the f* alone!" Her upset noises go on for hours after he finally goes away. It goes to show how long lasting the stress is from unwanted approaches, when your no means no and you aren't backing down but are still being pursued... which would surprise me in porcupines, because they don't have the human safety concerns to contend with, like diseases, money and ludacrous social status rules. 🤷🏻‍♀️
