Elon Musk's company Neuralink promises to help restore sight to the blind and mobility to the paralyzed, all thanks to the implantation of a microchip into the brain.

But as author and Timcast contributor Shane Cashman points out, these advances aside, there is great potential harm involved in giant corporations injecting people with brain-controlling devices.
