All The Way Up

Today we drive up to Pikes Peak. This was our third trip to Colorado Springs and our third attempt to make it to the top of Pikes Peak. Both times we tried before it was too windy and the top was closed. They now require reservations (during peak season) to go all the way up if you don't have you can only go to mile 16 instead of the full 19. We recommend doing the full 19 miles, if you're too scared to drive it they even have a train ride you can take to the top but we loved driving it. It's pretty neat once you get above the tree line and start driving through clouds. Sit back and enjoy the ride.
