Austin, TX shootout: Suspect linked to multiple shootings, school lockdown

Three shootings in Austin, TX may be connected, according to a FOX 7 Austin source. This includes an officer involved shooting, a shooting at a high school and a fatal shooting that left two people dead in South Austin.

The school district in Austin said the officer who was shot at the high school is in stable condition and will be released from the hospital soon. No details have been released about the APD officer.

Austin ISD also canceled classes for Wednesday, Dec. 6 following the shooting.
