Well now it appears that a deep fake interview was used to try to slander a business owner and company rival in the cannabis industry, but this time the stakes were much higher, involving incriminating accusations and the potential loss of millions of dollars. This “Deep Fake Slander” shows us that we take reality for granted. We are so accustomed to believing our eyes and ears that we are easily tricked when our senses deceive us.
