Nine counties will share over six-point-four-million-dollars

Governor Whitmer and the Department of Natural Resources allocated the money yesterday for Berrien, Clinton, Keweenaw, Macomb, Muskegon, Oakland, Ottawa, Roscommon, and St. Clair counties. The money will be used to upgrade community parks, trails, and sports facilities. The grant will also be used to purchase around eight-thousand acres of land in the Keweenaw Peninsula.
