Giants from Genesis to Revelation: Feat. InspiringPhilosophy and Haunted Cosmos

Is this passage about a race of semi divine giant humans, is it more simply about polygamy or the families of Seth and Cain intermarrying (genesis 4-5)? In this podcast we are taking a look at the more plausible, yet strange, possibility that the Nephilim were the unholy offspring of human women and elohim (spiritual/angelic members of God’s divine council). This is best explained by reading Genesis 6:1-4 in light of Genesis 3:15, where the plan of God to rescue humanity was revealed to the serpent in the Garden. Taking this plan of God in mind, the rebellious elohim tried to create their own perverted form of incarnation in direct defiance to the incarnation of Christ. Only this perverse disobedience between human and spiritual life accounts for the flood and the ensuing spiritual battle we see unfolding in human history (Ephesians 6, John 12:31, Revelation 12, etc).
As we consider this possibility a major theme unfolds throughout the rest of scripture; disobedient human and spiritual beings exist in conflict with God and His Heavenly family. We will look at:

Nimrod in contrast to Abraham
Israel in contrast to Canaan
David in contrast to Goliath
The Church in contrast to Babylon

And as we look at the book of Revelation Christ victory over all His enemies comes into clear focus. Our lives are intimately connected to the unseen realm and the rebellion of both the "world forces" and "spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." To overlook this is to minimize the victory Christ has won for us.
Therefore I do not agree with the interpretation by @InspiringPhilosophy that the rebellion of Genesis 6 was due to polygamous rulers (though that view is not excluded by the more supernatural view I am proposing), and I agree with @DRMSH and others who see this passage and one piece to a much larger cosmic struggle.
