GODZILLA MINUS ONE Breaks Records with SMALL Budget | Hollywood Should Take Note

Godzilla Minus One is breaking records in Hollywood for a foreign language film and has even reached the number one spot in the domestic box office. All on a small budget of just around $15 million.

Some would argue this is the result of Japan paying VFX artists significantly less than US based VFX artists, but when comparing cost of living the VFX artists in Japan are doing better than ones in the US. Even if Japan paid its VFX artists more than what they pay the artists in the US they would still be able to accomplish much more with a small budget. This is something Hollywood studios need to learn since they have been spending too much on movies and the box office results have not been able to recoup.
