The DNR Releases The Regular Firearm Deer Season Numbers

The DNR has released the numbers for the harvested deer during the regular firearm season for both antler and antlerless, and Sanilac County was the hot spot this year with just over 4,000 deer tagged.

The top Upper Peninsula County was Menominee which ranked 5th overall with 3,369 deer.

The lowest county was in the Upper Peninsula as well, with Keweenaw bringing in just 73 deer.

Overall, 136,473 deer were harvested across the state.
