Israeli army says discourse on captives is ‘irresponsible and inaccurate’

The Israeli army released a statement on Tuesday saying that the discourse surrounding captives is “irresponsible” and “inaccurate”.

The statement seemingly followed comments that were made on Monday by US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller, who said Hamas refused to release female captives to prevent them from talking about their alleged mistreatment in captivity.
