AnimeNEXT 2023 - The NEXT best anime con!

The anime con wasn't off to a perfect start on Friday, which is when I wrote most of the script, but on Saturday nearly all of the wonkiness had been fixed, or otherwise mitigated.

I'm impressed with the organizers' ability to put on an anime convention this good after almost four years of dormancy. Needless to say, I will be back next year, and may even book a room at the hotel so that I can just collapse on my bed without needing to drive an hour and a half back home.

Aside from a few hiccups on Friday, the anime con really shone brightly on Saturday, which is when the most people were in attendance. It ain't easy running a three-day convention this size, and AnimeNEXT didn't raise to the number one ranking by doing nothing.

Kinda sucks that there were so many restrictions on where you could take pictures and video, but at least masking was optional.
