Blue Skies

Inspired by Willie Nelson's version of this classic Irving Berlin song. I love the dual use of the word "Blue"...meaning both happy and sad. Sometimes, like in this performance, I imagine they all mean "sad"...giving this song a very melancholy vibe. Earlier that day, I went to the vet and made an appointment to have my 16 year old dog put to sleep at 9am the next morning. That was on my mind while I sang this song.
