It only takes them a few hours to clean up honey from comb. NEVER throw out honey comb, you drop it in the dirt or pull it from an icky attic…. Give it back. Do NOT put it in the hive w them, let them forage it back into hive. I’ve seen a mature colony move in less than 24 hours, taking every drop of honey with them.
