Cravings can be difficult. I look at reward, permission and celebratory thoughts. Sometimes alcohol can be seen as a "miracle drug" that is a cure all or panacea for all our ills. It isn't, of course, but we often think of it that way. We think of it as an end inself that makes the world right again.
