Israeli army soldiers clash in street combat against Hamas terrorists in Jabalia

The Israeli army on Saturday (December 9) released footage it said showed fighting in Jabalia, northern Gaza, as Israel sharply stepped up strikes on the Gaza Strip, expanding this phase of the war.

The army said in a statement that the troops launched a targeted strike on structures where Hamas terrorists took positions. Israeli army said Hamas terrorists were killed during the fighting.

Israel attacked the enclave from north to south in an expanded phase of the two-month-old war against the terrorist group Hamas, which on October 7 killed and butchered 1,200 people in Israel.
