You'd think he's a POW being held by Russia or Palestine--but no--he's being held against his will by Ukriane--a country whose government is completely funded by US tax dollars.

Lira's thought crimes include "justifying Russian propaganda," - a journalist being held as a POW for his speech.

Lira claimed he was tortured and extorted for tens of thousands of dollars.

Lira now, 7 months later, has not been to court, and is being held in a Ukrainian Gulag.
