Up in the tree, high sits a bird,

Whistles a tune, like a song unheard,

"Why all this stuff?" she starts to sing,

"We've got our wings, we have everything."

Just need the sun, the sky so wide,

Just need the stars to be our guide,

Food to eat, and the breeze,

Life is simple, live it with ease.

"Why do you need more than you hold?"

Ask the bird, so brave and bold,

"Just food and freedom, and a song to sing,"

That's all we need, and we have our wings.
