This is 'I Won't Bow Down', the second single off of the upcoming 'Darkness' LP by Searching Serenity. This song tackles the struggles and perseverance of standing up for what is bionically and not bowing down to worldly idols of things that are against God.

Darkness will be released platform-wide on Friday June 10th 2022!

TO THIS WORLD’S IDOLS
CUT OUT MY PRIDE
REPLACE IT WITH YOU

Worldly ways aren’t reflections
of Your heavenly kingdom.

I won’t cherish a false idol as if it is my god.
Putting things on a pedestal as if to imply that
they are greater than You.

Pushing an ideal to the world to bring others down
and lift their eyes towards things that cannot heal them.
Driving people to a point of insanity wishing they could
be something they are not all in the name of vanity.

Humble yourself in the sight of the world.
